Since the inception of dreams
the moon has always been there
 a luminous sanctuary
for every romanticized vision
that a heart can whisper

she safeguards them all
until she hears their twin
then releases them to the breeze
in the most exquisite manner

for what vision is more breathless
than the celestial version of romance?

it is a beauty so great 
even the stars give pause
that dreams may ripple across the skies
as they dance and connect with one another
an aurora of the romantics
for the romantics

gifted by the moon.
