How to express a heart
which cannot be contained
that its truth be known
and exist, in weightlessness?

couldn’t I just tell you?

oh, my love, but I have

not by whispers to softly caress your ears
(were that such could be deemed a lullaby)
nor by fancy script to please your eyes
(as if love could dance upon a page)
no, mere words cannot convey
the depth from which they flow

is there naught at my disposal
that you may see the light
no matter where you are 
nor the year
unburdened by the task
of carrying a written reminder?

The answer is in the stars

yes, my darling, the stars
radiating.  illuminating.
they channel the words I cannot say
with their celestial morse code
and you need only to look up to know:

each flicker, my moment of truth
conveying my love to you.
