~ Fade to Dream ~
From lavender and periwinkle
to the first whisper of a rose’s blush
in dreams you’ll find nary a wrinkle
when your heart is holding the brush
swirling and twirling
all inhibitions wash away
dancing, romancing
secrets have come out to play
blurred is the line between artist and muse
in the beguiling hours from dusk to dawn
joyous hearts reciprocate in mirrored hues
ensconced in slumber, where dreams are drawn.

Thank you 🙂 I think the best thing about dreams is that artist and muse are no longer on opposite sides of the street.

Thank you, Martin Dude, for enjoying my words and for being there for us all these years, even though I haven’t been home much of late.
