~ Color Me Blind ~
Before our demise
possibilities enveloped me like warm hugs
ease and laughter breathed into our lives
but it was only through one set of eyes
as black and white bled together
what I thought I knew came undone
in short order, your silence would sever
a friendship I thought would last forever
unanswered questions plague my mind
and I do not understand my sins
crippled, they render me blind;
I stagger through the greys you left behind.

They must be blind. I’d never leave you behind. Sorrowed yet soul beckoning.

Never say never. I seem to have a knack for making people do that. But thank you for saying it anyway 💗
